ADDENDUM TO LEASE – PET AGREEMENT

THIS AGREEMENT IS ENTERED INTO ON THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS, WHICH RESIDENT AGREES TO PERFORM AND OBSERVE BY SIGNING THIS ADDENDUM TO THE LEASE DATED __________________.

 
  1. Resident agrees that only the pet described and named below will occupy premises. No additional or different pet is authorized under this agreement. A maximum of 2 pets or 1 dog permitted. Pets must be at least 1 year old.
  1. Resident agrees that pet will be kept inside apartment at all times except when on a leash and accompanied by and under control of Resident. Resident must scoop up and discard properly any pet waste in a plastic bag.
  1. Resident is responsible for any injury or damage to person or property caused by any permitted pet.
  1. Any pet when outside of Resident’s apartment must be on a leash and kept away from all shrubbery. Management may designate certain areas of the grounds for pet use.
  1. This permission to have a pet can be revoked at any time if management determines the presence of Resident’s pet to be undesirable. Any fee paid will not be refunded.
  1. Resident agrees that pet will not exceed 20 inches in height and 20 pounds in weight when fully grown.
  1. Resident agrees to pay Lessor an additional security deposit of ____________. Said deposit will be refunded in full, provided the faithful performance of lease and addendums to said lease, including this Pet Agreement.
  1. Resident agrees to pay Lessor the following non-refundable Pet Fee. Payment of this fee does not alter Resident’s obligation under the terms of the Lease to keep the premises and its components (including carpet) clean and in good repair.

  1. Should you be caught allowing your pet in the landscaping or not following the clean up procedures of pet waste, a $25 fee will be charged to you per occasion.
